DJ Tira, the renowned Gqom star and owner of Afrotainment, faced criticism for his performance at the Democratic Alliance (DA) election rally in KwaZulu-Natal. This comes amidst allegations of sexual assault made by a Durban singer, Luke Ntombela, who claims that the incident occurred at DJ Tira’s residence ten years ago.
During an interview with Ukhozi FM, Ntombela disclosed that she had been invited to DJ Tira’s home. She alleged that she lost consciousness and woke up next to him in bed. Ntombela stated that she had visited his home after work, expecting him to arrange an Uber for her.
Furthermore, Ntombela expressed her shock upon awakening to find DJ Tira partially undressed beside her. She could not recall whether she was clothed or not. Despite the various reactions from fans regarding these allegations, DJ Tira appears unfazed by them.
Reports indicate that DJ Tira was seen performing on stage at the “KZN Rescue” concert held at Curries Fountain in Durban on Saturday, 11 May. The concert also featured other prominent Gqom artists such as Babes Wodumo and Dlala Thukzin.
