Early life and Career
Brought into the world on July 5, 1998, in Soweto, South Africa, Killer Kau started sharpening his melodic abilities at an early age, singing in church choirs such as Stay PC and the African Heavenly Soul vocalists.
His advancement came in 2017 while still in school when he earned broad respect for his viral hit “Tholukuthi Hello,” which grabbed the eye of DJ Euphonik.
In 2021, killer Kau got the Best Amapiano Collaboration award at the SA Amapiano Music Awards.
Death
Unfortunately, on August 9, 2021, killer Kau, alongside amapiano artist Mpura and rising artists The Voice, Thando Tot, and Thando Td, lost their lives in a deadly auto crash while in transit to a performance. Only one female passenger survived the crash, claiming to be a friend of Mpura and Killer Kau.
