Nigerian music sensation CKay has joined forces with veteran rapper Olamide to unveil their latest single, “Wahala.” This collaboration, which was released in May 2024, is already gaining significant attention across various streaming platforms.

The song “Wahala” showcases CKay’s unique “emo Afrobeat” style, blending heartfelt lyrics with infectious rhythms. It delves into the theme of intense attraction and the complexities that accompany it. CKay sings about his fascination with a love interest, describing her as having an innocent face but hinting at potential trouble. Olamide’s dynamic performance adds depth to the narrative, seamlessly transitioning between singing and rapping.

Co-produced by BMH and Moonesawmy Devadasen, “Wahala” features a captivating fusion of Afrobeat rhythms and contemporary beats. The infectious energy of the song is enhanced by a Spanish guitar melody, further adding to its appeal.

This is not the first time CKay and Olamide have collaborated.
