In the coming days, we will all be enjoying the collaborative album Bamba by ThackzinDJ and King Caro. As we approach the release date, we are pleased to present the complete tracklist for this project.
The narrative of Amapiano cannot be complete without acknowledging producers like ThackzinDJ. He has played a pivotal role in sustaining the Amapiano movement during periods when the local sound received little attention. With contributions from artists such as Kwaito, Tee Jay, and Boohle, ThackzinDJ has enriched the Amapiano genre with hit tracks like ‘Busy Weekend,’ ‘Izwelonke,’ and ‘Freak Like Me.’
Although he may not currently dominate the modern charts, he remains a respected figure within the Amapiano mainstream. In an effort to reestablish himself as a leading producer in the genre, ThackzinDJ is making a significant return with his forthcoming album Bamba, in collaboration with King Caro.
Bamba will consist of 13 tracks, featuring the recent single “Intombi’emhlophe” along with collaborations with Marikana, Unido, and others.
